Tap Dancing is a style of dance where students wear shoes fitted with heel and toe taps that create a rhythmic accompaniment to the dance. It originated in the USA from the fusion of several ethnic percussion dances and has been popularised through Hollywood musicals and shows.
Everyone has the ability to enjoy Tap Dancing in a fun environment. Classes for younger students are based on the ISTD syllabus and once they reach Primary and above, teachers follow the full syllabus and prepare for examinations.
